Like Roland Merullo (Final Say, April 23), my profession permits
me to travel and experience golf at its finest. I was a private club
member for years but realized something was missing. Living
in the Dallas area, where we can play year round and there is an
abundance of quality, public-access golf, I’ve come to realize I
enjoy the freedom of playing various courses with new folks more
than a regular game at my private club. The characters you meet and the cama-
raderie you share those four to six hours are something I wouldn’t trade. Thanks
for reminding me how lucky I am to have access to such great experiences.

As an avid golf fan, I’m embarrassed to admit I had no idea that there wasn’t a
U.S. Senior Women’s Open (What’s Next For The Legends Tour? April 23). Now is
the time to help Jane Blalock get her wish. How about Augusta National for the
